Heart Healthy Recipe: Two-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies
makes about 16 cookies
ingredients:
3 large ripe bananas, mashed
1.5 cups oats
additional mix-in options:
dark chocolate chips
dried cranberries/cherries/raisins
chopped walnuts/pecans/almonds
coconut flakes
cocoa nibs
or ANYTHING else you want!
instructions:
- preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- combine mashed banana with oats until smooth
- add in 1/2 cup of desired mix-in
- drop dough in large spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet
- bake for 15 minutes until cookies are set
- let cool and enjoy!
