Heart Healthy Recipe: Strawberry Banana 'Nice' Cream

ingredients:

1 large banana, frozen

1 cup strawberries, frozen

instructions:

- allow fruit to defrost for about 20 minutes before mixing

- combine strawberries and bananas in blender or food processor and blend well until mixture reaches a smooth and thick consistency

- enjoy right away as soft serve or place in freezer for 2 hours in a freezer safe container to harden ice cream

- store in freezer for days, defrost for 10 minutes before serving
